At Menudiz we respect your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and what rights you have over it. By using Menudiz you accept the practices described in this document.
The controller of your data is the Menudiz team. For any privacy-related questions, you can contact us through the contact form available in the app.
We collect: (a) account data (email, name if you provide it, profile picture from sign-in providers); (b) preferences and interactions (favorites, reviews, ratings, searches); (c) basic technical data (language, device type) needed for the app to work; (d) approximate location only if you grant permission, to show nearby restaurants.
We use your data to: (a) provide the service and personalize the experience; (b) show you relevant restaurants and calculate distances; (c) manage your account, favorites, and reviews; (d) improve the app by analyzing aggregated usage patterns using third-party tools like Google Analytics 4; (e) respond to your inquiries and support requests.
We process your data based on: (a) the performance of the service you request when signing up; (b) your consent (for example, to access your location); (c) our legitimate interest in improving the app and preventing abuse.
We do not sell your data. We only share it with infrastructure providers needed to operate the app (hosting, authentication, database), under confidentiality agreements and always complying with applicable regulations. We may share information if required by law.
We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account via the in-app settings or our web-based deletion request form at menudiz.es/help, we will permanently remove your profile, favorites, reviews, and associated activity.
You have the right to: access your data, rectify it, erase it, restrict its processing, object to its use, and request portability. You can exercise these rights from the Help Center or by contacting us. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority.
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data (encryption in transit, secure authentication, access control). No system is 100% secure, but we work continuously to reduce risks.
Menudiz is not directed at children under 14. If you discover that a minor has provided us data without their parents' or guardians' consent, please contact us to remove it.
We may update this policy. We will publish the new version on this same page with the update date. Continued use of Menudiz implies acceptance of the current version.
